The AAC team of John & Josh were given the task of replacing all of this PVC plumbing, with copper tubing, over at PBF Manufacturing in Phoenix.
The job is now complete, all air leaking has been stopped, the drops are in all the right (convenient) places, and the risk of injury from 30+ year old PVC bursting is completely eliminated.
Great job guys!
The use of PVC pipe is common but NOT RECOMMENDED for use with compressed air. It is often used because it is readily available, inexpensive, and easy to install. However, as with many plastics, PVC gets brittle over time and can crack, break, or even shatter.
